Terhi Saiman is the traditional rowing boat made on Terhi’s terms. This open boat moves easily and smoothly with both oars and outboard engine, but is still much easier to handle than traditional rowing boats. The Saiman’s sturdy sandwich hull made of impact-resistant ABS plastic withstands bumps and scratches better than similar boats with wooden or fibreglass hulls.

Saiman is Finland’s best-selling rowing boat, and for a reason. The boat has the best rowing characteristics of the entire model range and well thought-out details that make rowing easier and more directionally stable. A slightly lower centre of gravity, adjustable middle seat and good footrests contribute to a better rowing position for rowers of various heights. The boat comes equipped with a pair of oars and oarlocks, but it can accommodate up to two pairs of oars and a small short-rigged outboard. There are also lockable stowage compartments in the boat.

The boat’s rain drainage is most optimal with an outboard motor. If you use the boat without an engine, you should compensate this by adding 10kg of weight, so that the boat is emptied of rainwater as well as possible.
